Background
My name is Julie Chabot. I am the eldest daughter of the late Claude Chabot (founder of the Association des Chabot) and the late France Boissinot. I was born in September 1970 in Lévis.
I am divorced and the mother of two adult sons: Cédryk C. Turcotte (1993) and Gustave Turcotte (1995). I am a certified patient care attendant and early childhood educator. I worked in both fields for a little over 20 years before changing careers in recent years. I am now a customer support agent and team leader at Service Québec.
This year (October 12, 2025), I agreed to become a member of the Association’s Board of Directors. I serve as Vice President. I am happy to be able to participate, in my own way, in my father’s project, the Chabot Genealogy, a project I have followed closely over the years, as my father was very proud of it.
I have had the opportunity to participate in a few gatherings, including those in Montreal, Cookshire, and Montmagny.
