Son of Marcellin Chabot and Jeannette Plamondon, Clément is the first of a family of 5 children. Former firefighter and educator, He became member #89 in 2007. He has been the secretary of the Association from 2013 to 2023.
Since Clement is bilingual, he handled all English correspondence in addition to doing all mailings to members. He also called all English-speaking members to wish them a happy birthday.
He was always available to help: he would prepare the meeting room of the association with his wife Diane Bouffard. He also was our photographer at the activities or gatherings and he lended us equipment, which prevented us from renting it.
He kept all the documents and promotional items at his home. He also was the one who picked up the Chabotteries from the printer. Clement has lived through the most difficult moments of the Association and has always been a great help to me.
I wanted to write a thank you in the name of all the Chabot and mine for all the services that he brought to me and to the Association as well as for his great availability.
